Welcome to Four Lake
Following the halt in construction of the world’s largest nuclear power plant in Hartsville, TN , the State Legislature created and established the Four Lake Authority on April 15, 1986 for the purpose of economic development, improving employment opportunities, and developing the resources of the region embracing the impacted counties of Macon, Smith, Sumner, Trousdale, and Wilson.
Approximately 554 acres of the mothballed TVA nuclear site was sold to the Four Lake Authority in June 2002. The property, now PowerCom Industrial Center, is certified as a Deal Ready site and is located on State Highway 25. The site affords Cumberland River access, offers available warehousing, a Business Incubator, and large acreage sites.
